The 0445020150 is a genuine Bosch CP3 high-pressure common rail fuel pump. It carries the primary Cummins OEM part number 4988595 and directly replaces the previous assembly number 0445020045/1709696. This unit fits 6-cylinder Cummins ISB 6.7L and QSB 6.7L diesel engines installed in commercial trucks, buses, and Komatsu excavators.
This 1709696 pump features a radial 3-plunger layout driven by the engine timing gear train. It incorporates a rear-mounted gear supply pump and an ECM-controlled fuel metering valve (M-PROP). The assembly maintains a continuous 1600 bar rail pressure across all engine speed ranges on the Cummins QSB ISB 6.7L platform.
Internal plunger wear or gear pump clearance loss causes high-pressure delivery failure under heavy loads. On Cummins ECM systems, this defect triggers active fault codes FC559 (rail pressure low) or FC2216 (fuel pump delivery pressure low). Replacing the worn unit with this new 0 445 020 150 (DAF 1702932) pump restores factory pressure, stops hot-engine stalling, and cures extended cranking.
